One of the most exciting tasks when you are pregnant is creating your baby registry! It can also be one of the most daunting and overwhelming depending on your personality. I’ve put together a new baby checklist to help you keep track of what you want and need to buy for baby here. Before you even begin to get things together, you need to decide where you want to create your baby registry. There are many options out there, which can make your decision a little harder initially. Every registry has its perks, so I asked real moms what their favorite baby registries. This post will tell you the best baby registries and why moms loved them.

Here are the best baby registries ranked by moms:
Target
Target was the clear front runner with 49% of the vote.
Moms loved: the welcome package, the ease of adding items from the store and online, the fact that Targets are easily accessible across the country, and the experience of shopping in store.
Kristen said:
Target was easy and fast to do. I found everything and if I needed any help, the employees were quick to find and eager to assist!”
If you don’t already have one, a Target REDcard is a huge asset for any parent! You get 5% off of every purchase that you make. That includes Up&Up diapers and formula, which are by far my favorite store brand of both.
Amazon
Amazon came in second with 22% of the vote. As far as online registries went, it was the definite winner.
Moms loved: the completion discount, the welcome package, the ease of shopping online, the thank you card feature, and the wide selection of products.
Natalie from Mama Doing It All said:
I did it there for the great completion discount. I also like the larger variety of items to choose from. And, it’s nice to be able to use my free prime shipping to send gifts to out of town mamas-to-be, or when I can’t make their shower”
Babies R US
Babies R Us was close behind Amazon with 20% of the vote.
Moms Loved: the vast selection, the option for friends and family to order from the website, the knowledgeable staff.
Moms didn’t love: some friends and family didn’t want to make a special trip to Babies R Us and a lot of the selection was less expensive to purchase from Amazon, Target, or Walmart.
Buy Buy Baby
Buy Buy Baby came in with 6% of the vote. The store got a lot of the same comments as Babies R Us, but doesn’t seem to be as commonly used.
Other mentions for best baby registry were Walmart for being a friend and family favorite along with Elfster and Babylist for the ease and convenience of their all online registries.
Great post – I didn’t even know about these kinds of things when I was pregnant with mine #FabFridayPost
Baby registries seem to be a pretty exclusively American thing. It really is great to be able to chose what you need for baby and let your friends and family know. I’m not sure if they will catch on outside of the US and Canada soon or not.
Thanks for stopping by!
These are a great idea _ I don’t think these existed when I had my 3? Sarah #fabfridaypost
I don’t know that baby registries have caught on in the UK much yet even now. They are a big thing here in the US, and most mamas will have a baby shower as well.
Thanks for visiting!
I did mine with Amazon (my husband and I are out of state from family, so the automatic shipping was a great option!) We adored the endless options, the free box of goodies, and the discount at the end! Great post! I’ll send some new mamas your way to check out this post!

We really loved the Amazon registry too! It was so easy to use.
Thanks for stopping by!
Now this was interesting and new to me as I have never seen a baby registry before. Seems like a great idea though. In Holland and the UK baby showers are becoming more popular though. Thank you for linking up to #ablogginggoodtime 🎉
I’ve discovered since I started blogging that baby registries seem to be a strictly American thing. That was so weird to realize since they are so huge here! Thanks for stopping over. 🙂
