When my husband and I got married six years ago, we got a Keurig single cup coffee maker as a wedding gift. We were quick and happy to get rid of our regular old coffee pot. The Convenience of a Single Cup Coffee Brewer
The Keurig K-Duo has the same feature that has made Keurig so popular over the last several years. You use a convenient coffee pod, and select from 8 ounce, 10 ounce, or 12 ounce cup. It’s super quick and easy. This is especially helpful when you wake up early in the morning and only have one hand to make yourself a cup of coffee because baby is taking up your other arm.
I know a lot of people don’t love the waste of single serve coffee pods, but that can be remedied pretty easily with a reusable plastic or metal pod.
The Ease of a Pot of Coffee
The great part about the Keurig K-Duo is that it also offers a 12 cup coffee pot option. It works just the same as any other drip coffee maker. You fill it up, put the grounds in a filter, and choose between an 8 cup, 10 cup, or 12 cup pot. It’s still quick to heat up, and if you’re really impatient, you can pull the pot out mid-brew. This is great for those multi-cup days or when you want some left over coffee to ice later.
