The Company
The more I learn about Rebel Pine, the more I think that this is just a flat out cool company! Run by husband and wife team Megan and Shaw, Rebel Pine is out to “caffeinate adventurers who give a damn.” They donate 1% of all sales to environmental organizations and plant a tree for each bag of coffee purchased. You can learn more about Rebel Pine’s 1% for the Planet program here.
As an added bonus to all of the busy mamas like me out there, Rebel Pine offers a subscription option! If you take a look around my site, you will find that I love a good subscription service, and this one is right up there with the best of them. They offer pre-paid subscriptions for yourself or as gifts with an extra 5% savings on top of the convenience. The rotating subscription is an even better 10% off retail price.
The Coffee
Aside from my 10 year long coffee addiction, I am not a coffee expert, so excuse my lack of official terminology here. All that I know is that I have enjoyed every cup of coffee that I’ve brewed from my Rebel Pine variety pack so far. I also love that the coffee is 100% organically grown.
My favorite of the three was the Foxtail dark roast. It had a nice, full flavor like a strong cup of morning coffee should (in my opinion anyway!). I like that it wasn’t too acidic or bitter tasting like some of the popular coffee shops right now have. I ordered the whole bean coffee and brewed in my French press
The Holiday Deals
If you need some convincing on why you should gift coffee around the holidays, I will redirect you to the Rebel Pine blog to read 8 Reasons Why Coffee Is The Most Badass Holiday Gift Ever. Haha. I can get right on board with that!
There are some great holiday bundles live on the Rebel Pine website right now. Each bundle is designed to save you at least 10% off the original retail cost of the products.
Additionally, for Black Friday through Cyber Monday, the entire site will be 15% off. This is your chance to stock up, get some gift shopping done, and plant some trees in the process.
